Some of my many interests, besides spending time with family, are golf, travel, college football, Formula 1 Grand Prix racing, classic muscle cars and studying history particularly that of the Old West and the Roman Empire. I also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and have climbed to the 14,410 foot summit of Mt. Rainier.

Community activities and volunteer work over the years includes several years with the King County Cougar Club (WSU alumni volunteer athletic fund raising organization) where, among other duties, I served as President. I spent several years volunteering as a coach in the Kirkland American Little League and have volunteered time to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA working on the Bandage Ball committee (their annual fund raising event).
